- 1. First, turn off the water supply.
- 2. From the lowest point in the home, open a faucet to release pressure and drain most of the water from the system
- 3. Select the location for your filter.
- 4. Make 2 cut’s to remove the pipe section.
- 5. Place a compression nut and a brass fitting then secure with teflon tape.
- 6. Install the filter so the flow of water enters the “in” port and exits through the “out” port then hand tighten the compression nut.
- 7. Turn the filter valve to “off”, turn the water back on slowly and check for leaks.
- 8. Turn the filter value to “filter” and check again for leaks.

- 3. Verify all your water using appliances are turned off.
- 4. Open the filter canister.
- 5. Inspect the Old Filter and Clean Out the Filter Housing.
- 6. Inspect and Replace the O-Ring
- 6. Put Plumber’s Tape Around the Threads of the Filter Canister.
- 7. Putting the Replacement Filter In.
- 8. SLOWLY turn your water back on.
